Family-owned business since 1958
In the heart of the Zillertal, our grandparents Anna and Karl Platzer Sr. opened the Landhaus Platzer in 1958 and made it their mission to create an idyllic retreat for their guests amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery. With great dedication, they ran the Landhaus for over 30 years. In 1991, Anna and Karl Platzer took over their parents’ business and also contributed greatly to the cozy atmosphere that Landhaus Platzer still exudes today.

In 2016, Magdalena and Andreas Platzer followed in their ancestors’ footsteps. To this day, the Platzer family continues to run the boutique hotel in Zell am Ziller with great enthusiasm and dedication. As a master carpenter, your host Andreas deeply appreciates wood as an eco-friendly material and its many positive qualities. With great passion and finesse, he designed and crafted the beautiful furniture and paneling that lend our cozy rooms a unique sense of comfort. Hostess Magdalena takes care of her guests’ well-being and is happy to assist with any questions. With great attention to detail, she ensures a harmonious atmosphere at Landhaus Platzer.
