Sincere hospitality
Our grandparents, Anna and Karl Platzer Sr., opened Landhaus Platzer in 1958 in the heart of the Zillertal and made it their mission to create an idyllic retreat in the middle of the breathtaking mountains for their guests. They ran the Landhaus with great dedication for 30 years. In 1991, our parents took over the family business and further contributed to the homelike atmosphere that Landhaus Platzer still exudes to this day.

In 2016, Magdalena and Andreas Platzer followed in the footsteps of their forefathers. The Platzer family continues to run the cozy bed and breakfast in Zell am Ziller to this day with much enthusiasm and dedication. As a master carpenter, your host Andreas appreciates the environmentally-friendly material of wood and its positive properties. With passion and intuition, he designs and makes the wonderful furniture and paneling that bestow our rooms with one-of-a-kind accommodation comfort.
