Located right at the entrance to the Zillertal Arena ski area, Landhaus Platzer offers guests a carefree, uncomplicated winter vacation full of magical moments! You can reach the Zillertal's largest ski area easily on foot from your accommodations. Even away from the slopes, you can experience a variety of outdoor activities right in the snow-covered natural landscape!  


Skiing

Only a stone's throw away from your accommodations at Landhaus Platzer, you can soar up high on the gondolas of the Rosenalmbahn and Karspitzbahn to a gorgeous ski area full of sunny slopes and modern lifts. On 143 km of slopes, you can experience the finest skiing enjoyment and discover thrilling ski runs that lead from Zell am Ziller via Gerlos into the alpine world of neighboring Salzburg.

Zillertal super ski pass

The Zillertal super ski pass is your ticket to 535 km of perfectly prepared slopes and 180 state-of-the-art lifts in the Zillertal and on the Hintertux Glacier. Centrally located in the middle of the 4 large ski areas of the Zillertal Arena, Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000, your vacation region awaits you with pure winter sports enjoyment on the slopes, in the fun parks, and on deep snow slopes here in the Zillertal!  

Tobogganing fun

What would a winter vacation be without a fun toboggan ride? With the crisp winter wind in your face, you can dash down the mountain on your toboggan on snow-covered, curvy mountain paths. The Gerlossteinbahn lift will comfortably take you up to an elevation of 1,650 m, where the starting point of the Zillertal's longest toboggan run is located. Now you're ready to go! Awaiting you on the 7 km long toboggan run are fast passages, wide curves, and refreshment stops - and everything is floodlit until 1 am! Many idyllic forest paths in the Zillertal also invite you to hike up to the start of the toboggan run with your sled, and you can enjoy the moonlight and twinkling starry sky!

On picturesque paths, you can hike through meadows and forests and discover natural jewels all while time seems to stand still. The area around the Gerlosstein is very popular for ski tours, and the side valleys that branch off from the high valley of Gerlos promise the finest cross-country skiing enjoyment along with wonderful hiking paths!
